About Battery State of Charge Checker

A battery voltage calculator can help you determine the state of charge or health of your battery based on its voltage reading.

How to use the checker

  1. Measure the Battery Voltage: Use a multimeter to measure the voltage across the battery terminals. Make sure the car is not running, and there is no electrical load on the battery.
  2. Enter the recorded Voltage in the calculator to calculate the 12v battery state of charge. A fully charged 12-volt battery typically has a voltage of around 12.6 to 12.7 volts when it’s at rest (not being charged or discharged).

Note: Please note that this is a basic estimation of the battery’s state of charge and does not account for factors like temperature and battery age. For a more accurate assessment, you may want to use a battery tester or consult your vehicle’s manual for specific voltage guidelines.
