NRMA (Australia)
Description
[ Information from NRMA website]
The NRMA is a community organisation that exists because of our Members, but we also operate a range of significant and successful businesses that require professional governance and management – along with the right people to fill the jobs.
You can get more information here about our board, our executive leadership team, our commitments as a mutual organisation, our corporate responsibility initiatives and the range of career and apprenticeship opportunities we have on offer.
Better roads and transport has been a core focus of the NRMA since it was founded in 1920. Since then, the NRMA has grown to represent over 2.6 million Australians, and we’ve played a key role in the mandatory use of seatbelts, the introduction of random breath testing, the establishment of ANCAP crash testing, and lobbying for improvements to NSW and ACT roads.
This tradition of campaigning and research continues today with a growing focus on future transport solutions and tourism, while maintaining our focus on safety and infrastructure challenges affecting regional and metropolitan communities. We want to prepare our communities for tomorrow with a focus on future transport, alternative fuel sources, and the use of blue highways.
